Getting to and from the Malaysian Grand Prix Circuit

Located in the heart of the country's Multimedia Super Corridor, the Sepang Circuit is accessible via air, rail and road.

The circuit is 3.5km away from the New Kuala Lumpur (KL) International Airport and the North-South Central Link Expressway will get you from KL itself to the circuit. Limousines, shuttle services, and car rentals are available at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which is only a 10-minute drive from the circuit.

The circuit is also connected via major highways and expressways. From Kuala Lumpur (KL), take the North-South Highway towards the KLIA Interchange. It would take roughly 45 minutes to get to the circuit from KL. Take any major highway heading to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Once you pay the toll, take the first left exit from the highway. A mosque will be on your left. At the roundabout, go straight. Take the first left exit after the first traffic light (about 8km) and follow the signs.

Numerous rail services run out of KL, Seremban and Nilai to the Sepang circuit and will take between 20 and 40 minutes.

Being a modern custom-designed track, Sepang circuit offers a large parking area scattered across half a dozen sites. Parking is included in the price of some tickets with premium locations situated closer to the Mall area where Diamond, Sapphire, Turquoise and Crystal ticket holders get priority. Several dozen bays are demarcated and shuttles are provided from the remote bays.
